'Aishwarya Bachchan school for girls', Amitabh�s gift to Aishwarya

One more time Amitabh Bachchan & family is in news. Bollywood legand Amitabh Bachchan had bought a land in Daulatpur village, near Lucknow city in Uttar Pradesh. Amitabh is planning to start a girl school in the name of his beautiful daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Today full Bachchan family, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were present at Daulatpur village to lay the foundation stone for ‘Aishwarya Bachchan Girls Intermediate College’ – a school for higher secondary education for girls.

During the ceremony apart from Bachchan family many political leaders were present including, Samajwadi party general secretary and friend Amar Singh, Chandrababu Naidu (former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister) and former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. During the ceremony, mom-in-law Jaya Bachchan had urged Aishwarya that, she should visit Daulatpur village frequently to see the development of her school so that more and more girls gets good education.

Why Bachchan changed his original plan of naming the school after his eminent poet father, the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan, is not known either.
