Chiranjeevi's second daughter Sreeja (18) has married her longtime boyfriend Sireesh Bharadwaj (22) at Aryasamaj ashram, Hyderabad. The buzz is that the couple resorted to this sudden step without the knowledge of their parents.
Sireesh hails from a middle class Brahmin family and is said to be a friend of ex-CLP leader P. Janardhan Reddy's son. Talking to the media reporters, Sreeja said that she had fallen in love with Bharadwaj four years ago. "I love my dad," the girl, saidwithout showing any signs of tension.
Sreeja recently completed her intermediate and is pursuing CA. Sireesh Bharadwaj is an engineering student from Begumpet and his father is a lawyer. Bharadwaj said that though they actually wanted to get their wedding performed legally through registration, they had later changed their mind and got it done with Aarya Samaj ashram, which is also legal. Close friends of the lovers attended the marriage, which is being telecast on TV 9, a leading news channel.
Sreeja said that she would meet her father Chiranjeevi, along with her hubby in the evening. A media briefing is expected by then.
