Srija,Sirish Bharadwaj in Delhi : High court provides protection


In the latest turn of events in the drama on Megastar Chiranjeevi's family front, his recently -wed daughter Srija moved the Delhi High Court seeking protection against her influential family and Delhi High court today (October 22) directed the police to provide protection to her.

Chiranjeevi's 19-yr-old daughter Srija married her boyfriend Sirish Bhardwaj on October 17th against the wishes of her family, in an Arya Samaj ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony, the couple approached the media, saying they feared for their lives, and asked for police protection.

Advocate Pinky Anand said that the court had ordered a police protection for Srija and her husband in the interest of their life and liberty.and ordered Chiranjeevi family to submit a written assurance that there is no threat to the newly-wed couple from them.

The next hearing on this case is scheduled on October 29:

Speaking to Media Srija said' I trust my uncle's(Pawan Kalyan) words on TV today.we will return to Hyderabad soon and we will live in my in-laws house"

When the media questioned Sirish Bharadwaj about the kidnap issue in 2002 he replied"we went to cinema and her family filed kidnap case on me.it's nothing more than that"

Hyderad to Delhi via Goa:

After the marriage and speaking to media Srija&Sirish went to North Zone DCP Office and requested protection.With no positive signs from the Police Srija and Sirish Bharadwaj hired a Taxi and left to Goa and then to Delhi.
